Designed by Conran and Partners, the KEF Music Gallery in London is the latest in a series of global experience centers by the renowned British speaker manufacturer. Located just off Oxford Street in central London, the Gallery spans two floors and 5,000 square feet, offering visitors an immersive journey into the world of music, film, and audio-visual art.
As a milestone for KEF, the space reflects the company’s motto, “Listen and Believe,” allowing guests to explore and experience KEF’s cutting-edge sound technology in a variety of experiential zones. These zones cater to music lovers, film enthusiasts, and creatives, blending high-fidelity audio with dynamic, visual environments.
The Gallery’s design merges industrial elements like stainless steel and concrete with warm finishes of light and dark oak, creating a contemporary yet residential atmosphere. The result is a striking contrast to traditional audio showrooms, offering a space where visitors are encouraged to sit back, relax, and engage with sound on a deeper level.
A standout feature of the Gallery is the sleek, modern ceiling design, fitted with CEIR’s Monolama QR1 aluminium ceiling panels. With a thickness of 2mm, a cell size of 35x35mm, and a trackless mounting system, the panels give the café and music studio an ultra-modern aesthetic while maintaining acoustic integrity. This careful attention to design ensures that every detail of the space complements KEF’s commitment to providing an unparalleled auditory experience.
