The construction project of the Solothurn hospital – Bürgerspital Solothurn – is the result of an international competition for a new 303-bed hospital with operating rooms, maternity wards, intensive care, day hospital, radiology, outpatient care, diagnostics and emergencies on the current hospital.

The project involved a new L-shaped structure built around the building.
